M&S Xmas

A large scale, multiple scene, magical, festive extravaganza for this huge M&S Christmas commercial commercial.

The piece is inspired by the golden era of Hollywood, with a set designed and built by us to facilitate a 60-second TV spot. It depicts a whimsical, musical world with the star of the ad dancing through the iconic moments of Christmas.

This included a large scale London street scene with scenic painted backdrop. Engineering a top opening train set. A geometric art deco set that takes its cue from the works of Busby Berkeley, complete with a podium for that dizzying synchronised dance troupe. There are neon runways, disappearing pubs and of course a partridge in a pear tree!
All dripping with both cinematic and classic nostalgic Xmas energy.
