Proud to have built the 40 metre long brutalist tunnel (on ice) set for Nike’s ode to the inspirational South Korean Speed Skating gold medalist Shim Suk-Hee. The campaign uplifts her incredible bravery on and off the ice, using the beautifully apt windshadow analogy. A technique in speed skating, where the lead skater creates a sheltered zone in their wake, for those behind them to reach peak speed with less energy.
“Technocranes, snow cams, ice rickshaws, probe lenses and two amazing local ice hockey players who learned to be camera operators within two days were just some of the elements we relied on to tell this story,” Crowns & Owls.
